Children respond quickly to chiropractic care. Health problems that might take months to resolve on adults usually respond in a few visits. We have a children's section in our office to make children feel at home.

The holistic model of how your body functions teaches us that our mind and body are not separate. We have a bodymind. Dr. Mayfield uses the "five elements" (the basis of Chinese classical acupuncture) to help patients understand how to bring the seemingly disparate parts of their consciousness into cooperation and harmony. Health in the body naturally follows healthy thoughts, feelings and beliefs.
Our top priority is to help you heal from the inside out. The rules are simple. You will be asked to become a participant in your healing process, an equal member of your healing team.

Appointments
If you would like to make an appointment, please contact our office by calling 530) 272-8839. Our summer hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:20 A.M. to 6 P.M.
We are a scent free office and ask that you refrain from wearing scented body lotions or perfume on the days of your visit.
Financial
My office manager, Judy Mayfield will submit all insurance forms for you and help you recover the most possible from your benefits. We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want.
We ask that you pay for services rendered unless other arrangements have been made with the office manager. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or Visa credit card.
Cancellation
If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with at least 24 hours notice. We ask for this advance notice so that we can offer this appointment to another patient. A fee of half of the price of your visit will be charged if you do not show up for an appointment without giving us sufficient notice so we can fill that appointment.

Facility
Our office is on Brunswick road, a half mile from Highway 49, past the shopping center and the two banks on either side of the road. We are located in the Brunswick East Professional Complex at 565 Brunswick road, suite 12. We are the first building on the left as you come up the driveway.
We have a homey relaxed office setting. When you come into our office you will experience lovely art, pleasant music, a spacious family room with a play section and art supplies for children so families can enjoy their wait together. We believe a homey artistic feeling is more condusive to a healing experience.
My wife Judy, who will greet you and help you with paperwork is also and artist. She has a gallery showing her pottery off the waiting room.
